Business Service Reference Model (SRM) is one of the six national reference models and focuses on classification and patterns of government services. The SRM describes government services and functions from a stockholders point of view and covers inter-enterprise services.
The SRM draws the big picture of government services. Executive bureaus develop their enterprise architecture based on this big picture. In addition, the SRM determines “what should be done” in terms of functions and services but the way these services are designed and implemented is assigned to executive bureaus.
